We are so grateful that God has provided the resources for us to slowly but steadily grow this organization over the past five years, and we plan to continue moving forward for many more. We are funded by the donations of friends like yourself throughout the Bay Area and California, friends who believe in our work in East Oakland. Every dollar that is donated helps us fulfill our mission to develop young adult leaders with the character of Christ.
As the year comes to a close, please prayerfully consider a year end gift to support this vital work. We need to continue moving forward, particularly with stipends for the participants in our leadership training program as they grow in capacity to lead and start their own programs in the neighborhood.
For those of you who give regularly, you can switch the name on your checks to Oakland Leadership Center at your convenience. We have the same address, the same bank account, the same board and the same vision. Shalom of Oakland is still a name on our bank account, so any donations made in that name will continue to be accepted.
